Armistice Day At PBS

On Friday 9/11/18 Panmure Bridge had our own Armistice day. The children from Panmure Bridge School gathered up together to celebrate the remembrance of the fallen soldiers this is the 100th anniversary of Armistice day the original Armistice day will be held on Sunday 11/11/18. During our celebration the music that is played to wake up the soldiers was played well we were all standing facing the Nz flag and as we were going to sit down the other song called the lost post was played well the flag was being raised.

  1. Hi Kanye, I'm Poppy from Karoro school Greymouth. ANZAC day is a very special time of year. It is special because we would not be the country we are today without our ancestors. 100 years is a milestone! It would be nice to know what songs you played. ANZAC day is that time of years where my name is always said for I am named after the Poppy flower. What does ANZAC day mean to you? You did a great job explaining your work. Keep up the good work!
