Bridge building

Today for inquiry we have finally put our bridges to the test this is a photo of me and my group with the bridge that we have created to take this test head on but sadly the bridge that we have made only could hold 2 bricks it wasn't what we were hoping  but 2 bricks is good enough. The bridge that could carry the most bricks had up to 8 bricks so congratulations to the group that had the mush bricks. We have been working and studding about this for a long time and we've also learned heaps about bridges and what types of bridges are more stronger. The strongest shape of them all is a triangle, why? because a triangle has three sides meeting at an angle, so when you add pressure to a triangle all of the pressure gets spread around.

  1. Well done, I thought your bridge had a very nice design and looked good. What do you think you would change if you were to do this again?

    1. I'll change it from being big and try do it smaller so that there will be more spaghetti left over just in case we'll need it.
